Wine Gift Basket

Wine Gift Baskets:

Gift baskets are very popular among the people having good taste and culture. The concept of gift basket was coming from fruit basket; while there are some other outcomes of gift basket-such as wine gift basket.

Wine is very important item to celebrate any occasion like wedding, birthday, anniversary etc.It gives a pleasant realisation of life and forces you to sing and dance while you can speak and walk. Wine and music are indispensable parts of every party. Wine is the only aspect which turns an occasion into a party.

A wine gift basket is a collection of excellent wines which is gifted to exhilarate the mood of any party. A wine gift basket is an ideal gift for the anniversary purpose; this will rejuvenate the conjugal life of the couple and share their experiences of year's long relationship. A peg of wine is a great way to express one's gratitude and thankfulness. Wine warms up a chilled Christmas evening into sizzling one. Wine is also very suitable for Valentine's Day celebration. Wine represents the concealed romance of people's life and makes them express their hidden feelings.

There are some people who consider this as the "last resort" gift type. But things are not always the same as a lot of hard work, concept and expertise are involved in this. The sender of the wine gift basket must remember that this is a gift and it should not be designed on the basis of his/her choices. The sender must know the choice and taste of the receiver so that the sender get an appreciation from the receiver.

These baskets are excellent presentations for both men and women as they are convenient for any occasions such as weddings, anniversaries or birthdays. Generally it is considered that men like their drinks in a can or twist top bottle which is very wrong guess. There are any men who like to prefer wine of different flavours and packages. It is not true that men are always not eager to spend extra times to uncork the bottles; many of them may prefer to give some extra effort to uncork their

adored bottles. As per the women are concerned they prefer the wine accessories such as crystal glasses, ice-pots or decanter. It is always recommended for the sender to gift wine on the basis of receiver's knowledge. If the receiver is not so accustomed with the wine then a guideline book to enjoy the gift is a great idea. Wine accessories can also be send if the receiver is an epicure of wine. In addition of Wine, some wine accessories can be appended. Accessories like crystal glasses, crorkscrews can be added to make it a worthwhile and warm.

As there are verities of wine gift baskets for different festivals and occasions, but choosing wine baskets for the proper occasions is very important.Winebaskets should not contain wine or wine accessories only, other delicious snacks such as chocolate, cheeses or cookies can be send. The prices of the wine gift baskets are also very important. The senders may have tasty and lucrative wine baskets range between $22 to $55.

A wine gift basket can be gifted to anyone-to friend, to immediate boss or to superior boss, to parents, senior people and last but not the least to your beloved.

A Guide to Wine Cellar Racks

Wine Cellar Racks
Wine Cellars and Racks for the Home

Wine cellar racks allow the wine enthusiast to have a professional looking cellar right in their own home. A wine cellar rack is most often a wall mounted or stackable wine rack unit. It can hold from 10 to 100's of bottles depending upon your individual need and with space in mind; they are also customizable. Wine cellars and racks for the home allow the individual wine lover to convert any space in their home into an instant cellar in a matter of moments.

Wine bottles need to have proper storage to ensure that the wine maintains optimal flavor and wine cellar racks provide this storage. Anyone with an interest in wine should know that the proper and more convenient way to store wine bottles is on their sides. By using a wine cellar rack, bottles either are individually or grouped together on their sides in cubicles. This arrangement is necessary for several reasons. First, by storing the bottle on its side, the sediments that settle out of the wine over time are more evenly distributed and help the wine keep most of the desired original flavor. In addition, the label and corks are better preserved.

Wine cellars and racks for the home are inexpensive. They are easy to assemble, come with detailed, easy to understand instructions, and all the necessary hardware and they are durable. They come in a wide range in size, styles, colors, and are composed of various materials. Wine cellars and racks for the home are really more convenient than just keeping those few bottles on the pantry shelf. They actually take up more space being upright, then if properly stored on their side in on of our small wine cellar racks.

Wine cellar racks are no longer just for the winery or commercial entity. Although cellar racks can easily accommodate these larger consumers, the individual wine connoisseur can also benefit from a wine cellar and rack for the home. By purchasing customizable units, cellar racks for wine can be placed in almost any location available, from that junk closet to a conventional cellar.

A Featured Wine Cooler Article

Custom Wine Labels

Wine producers and distillers are proud of their product. It is this sense of pride and the hard work and quality of attention they put into their product that makes custom wine labels important to them. Wines are judged not just by the year the grapes used to produce them were harvested, or in what country they come from. Wine connoisseurs look at the vineyard and the quality of grape vine too. These details are found on the wine bottle label.

Traditionally, all wine bottles look the same and are labeled quite the same as well. To those inexperienced at buying wines, the many different varieties of wine on the shelves go unnoticed because they tend to buy their favorite brands.

In today?s globalized economy where products, including wines from all over the world, find their way into local supermarkets, competition has gotten edgier. If you are a wine producer, you need to step up on your marketing strategy. If you cannot modify the look of your glass bottle, as it is harder and more costly to do, you can modify your label. Generic bottles, what glass-packaging manufacturers call them, are mass-produced and are used by a variety of customers that extend beyond wine producers. For example, generic looking wine bottles are used to package olive oil, balsamic vinegar and other premium food ingredients. The trick in making these bottles look different from each other is in the labeling.

There are many labels available for clients who need to identify wine bottles. They include the usual paper labels in a two color-printing scheme, the glossy labels in four colors and shrink-wrapped labeling.

In the world of marketing, products are judged according to their packaging and labels. A customer?s impression of the product starts from how the product is presented on the shelf. An attractive label can often spell success for the product. There are many packaging companies and print houses with designers that offer custom-made wine labels. Check them out and compare prices as well as the scope of services they are willing to give.

Custom Labels provides detailed information on Custom Labels, Printed Custom Labels, Custom Wine Labels, Custom Clothing Labels and more. Custom Labels is affliated with Custom T Shirt Design.

Overproduction - the Greatest Challenges to the Wine Industry

Worldwide, overproduction has long been one of the greatest challenges to the wine industry.

In the last three years Spain, France and Italy's wine production has increased by over 24 million hectolitres. According to figures from the International Wine and Vine Organisation, a bumper crop in Australia, Argentina and Europe has put global wine production at an estimated 287 million hectolitres (the highest since 1992). Most of this increase is attributable to France, Italy and Spain - the world's three largest wine producing countries.

The European Union produces an astonishing 1.5 billion litres of unwanted of wine every year which equates to 4 bottles per person per year. EU spends half a billion euros every year turning wine we don't buy into spirit that's not needed, so that the vineyard owners can survive.

Since 1981, the EU has been distilling surplus wine into industrial alcohol which is a costly process. There is an annual budget of ?220 million which can be used to distil 11 million hectolitres of wine.

Until the 2002 vintage, there had been a crisis distillation each year since the mid-eighties. The last crisis distillation, from the 2001 harvest, removed an extra 7 million hectolitres of wine from the market.

But this year, a combination of higher production, a weak dollar and declining domestic consumption in both Spain and Italy, spells trouble for the EU wine industry - and consequently the possibility of reigniting crisis distillations.

Denis Verdier, president of the CCVF said: "It is the first time in the history that the gravity of the crisis has led to AOC wines calling upon distillation". In addition to the distillation, Mr. Verdier asks for financial assistance in pulling up vines, including 10,000 hectares in the Bordeaux region.

Several reports suggested that half the vineyards in the EU are to be grubbed up. These proposed measures are still being discussed. So the earliest any proposals can become a reality is 2008, this combined with plans to stop buying and distilling surplus wines and relax constrictive winemaking and labelling rules means that Europe is set to continue producing more wine that we want to drink!
